Caleb Conser added to the ground attack with 100 rushing yards and two more touchdowns, giving Mill Creek a balanced and explosive offense.

On defense, Mattsen Coleman made his presence felt with five tackles and an interception, while Ulysses Hutton helped pave the way offensively with 25 rushing yards and a key pancake block. Iain Casebeer was consistent in the kicking game, converting four of five PATs for Mill Creek.

However, Monroe didn’t back down and battled back in the second half. Braden Algier sparked the Bearcats’ rally with two second-half touchdowns, and Bridger Linn added another score to close the gap. Despite the loss, Monroe showed resilience and grit, finding rhythm late and finishing strong against a tough opponent.

Mariner leaned on its defense and gritty execution to earn a 12-0 shutout win over Renton. Both of Mariner’s scores came on quarterback sneaks, capitalizing on short-yardage opportunities and setting the tone with physical play up front.

Defensively, Mariner was dominant from start to finish. The unit came up with a fumble recovery and an interception, keeping Renton off the scoreboard and stalling multiple drives. With relentless pressure and disciplined coverage, the defense played lights out and gave the offense all the breathing room it needed.
