Zevion Watkins – Running Back, Rainier Beach

Watkins wasted no time electrifying the field, breaking off a 76-yard touchdown run on Rainier Beach’s very first play from scrimmage. He added a second touchdown early in the second quarter, giving the Vikings crucial early momentum in what became a blowout victory. His explosive speed and vision helped tilt the game, setting the tone for a 54-point team performance. Watkins continues to be one of the most dynamic playmakers in the Metro League.

Kurt Esteban-Mejia – Linebacker, Lakeside

Esteban-Mejia anchored a dominant Lions defense that posted a shutout over Ingraham, holding them scoreless in a 13–0 victory. He recorded 8 solo tackles, patrolled the field sideline to sideline, and delivered the kind of physical play that set the tone from the first snap. His presence in the middle of the field disrupted the Rams’ rhythm all night.

Aidan Streidl – Kicker, Lakeside

Streidl delivered in clutch moments, knocking down two field goals from 38 and 45 yards to give Lakeside crucial points in a tight game. Oteko Mwamba – WR/RB, Rainier Beach

Mwamba showcased his versatility in a monster performance against Ballard, scoring both on the ground and through the air. He had a 21-yard touchdown reception to close out the first half and a 51-yard rushing touchdown in the third quarter. His agility and awareness kept Ballard’s defense on its heels all game. Mwamba is proving to be a vital weapon in Rainier Beach’s high-powered offense.

Ironman of the Week

Marques Illi-Meneese – RB/DE, Rainier Beach

Illi-Meneese was a force on both sides of the ball. He ripped off a 56-yard touchdown run early in the fourth quarter and followed it up with two sacks on defense. His relentless motor and two-way dominance helped Rainier Beach maintain its second-half surge. The Vikings may have depth, but Illi-Meneese is becoming their tone-setter on both offense and defense.

Desmond Parkinson – Quarterback, West Seattle

In one of the city’s most anticipated rivalry games, Parkinson showed poise and precision under pressure. He completed 19 of 26 passes for 188 yards and a touchdown, leading West Seattle to a 17–10 victory over Chief Sealth in the annual Huling Bowl. His decision-making and accuracy were key in sustaining drives and keeping the Wildcats’ offense balanced. Parkinson’s performance cemented him as one of the league’s steadiest signal callers.
