Lakeside, sitting at 3-1 overall and undefeated in league play, was hoping to keep its perfect conference record intact. But the Seahawks had other plans—and delivered their most complete performance of the season.

With explosive offensive drives, stifling defense, and momentum-shifting plays on both sides of the ball, Chief Sealth dominated from start to finish, handing the Lions a 28-0 loss and shaking up the Metro League standings in the process.

The game opened with Lakeside’s offense going nowhere. After a three-and-out, Sealth’s Kingston Cappiello returned the ensuing punt to set the Seahawks up near midfield. From there, the ground game got to work. Marshawn Tovia-Ford burst through for a 15-yard gain, MJ Filitaula followed with a 17-yard run, and Jessie Gilmore II punched it in with a 13-yard touchdown run to give Sealth an early 7-0 lead.
